  1. I believe the Cubs know Turner is cooked, give him a chance, didn't work out. He'll be a former Cub before long.
  2. Given the lineups they've faced so far this season I could see the bullpen being careful trying to thread the needle. There's no need to pitch in a such a manner this series, be, aggressive go right at the Pirates, stop the horsefeathers nibbling.
  3. Me too, need something out of the running game if Caleb' going to cook.
  4. Ian Wheeler, he listed on the roster at the NFL' site.
  5. There's hope behind an improved line they'll perform better however, at the moment, the Bears RB of room of Homer, Johnson, Swift, Wheeler and Monangai is depressing. More so when one considers how important the running game is to Ben Johnson' offense. While I'm fairly confident Caleb' going to bust out, the RB room does give me pause. As a result we may see the integration of non-RB's into the running game maybe, more than we should.
  6. Ideally Taillon will be able to keep it close, I like the Cubs chances to get to the Phillies' bullpen.
  7. Well, that sucks, an upgrade at kicker would be nice.
  8. I'd like a kicker seemingly every other team has, FG of 50+ yards are reasonable, almost chip shots from 53-57, not the guy who has to kick a low line drive from the 34+ yard line. Ironically, regarding low line drives from distance, the Packers are in the same boat with their kicking situation. Hell, the Lions found someone from UFL why can't the Bears?
  9. Does anyone know about the kicker they signed? Does he have a big leg? Would really be great if the Bears found or can find an accurate kicker with a big leg.
  10. There's no rule against Swift and even Roschon Johnson being more effective with, what's on paper, an improved offensive line. I firmly believe every RB the Bears had targeted was picked just before their pick and Monangai was like plan Z, there's Ian Wheeler as well. While not ideal, something good could arise, main point is will any of these RB's be effective enough to open up the passing game? Will teams, believing Caleb cannot consistently beat them through the air, load up to stuff the run? I do not believe this year's draft was as terrible as many here believe although, that horsefeathers LB in the 4th was a complete waste, I'll give us that. The Bears should have taken another edge prospect, I'm certain they could have signed Hyppolite off the street after the draft. At the very least Poles didn't do something really stupid such as trading up for Jeanty.
  11. Don’t have any hope for the pass rush and the LB in the fourth was senseless.. Do have great hope Caleb’ going to cook and the offense will light up the scoreboard.
  12. Took a RB, would have preferred Sanders from South Carolina but, Monangai is about as good as could be expected in the 7th round. Nothing to prevent them from signing a bunch UDFA RB's as well, I know it's not best route to address RB. And, for it's worth, many ratings had Burden as a late first rounder, for all hand smacking, cheering, etc. that occurred when the Packers picked Golden. Burden was the higher rated prospect on many boards and mocks, think the Bears may have something.
  13. It's disappointing they couldn't address RB, I believe everyone they had targeted was drafted before the Bears had a chance to pick.
  14. Perhaps, given they way the draft has fallen, there’s no plan to draft a RB?
  15. I guess, still would have liked a RB, reach next pick.
  16. Don’t get this pick, RB was in order.
  17. If they players the Bears are targeting aren't there I don't mind them trading back. Might as well get more picks and increase your chances of finding someone. Overall I believe the Bears are having a good draft, they got two potential early impact players, given this draft and the even-ness of the talent, that's not bad.
  18. Turner will work, rather liked Jackson though .
  19. Thought Green had Philadelphia Eagle written all over him.
  20. Saints passed on Sanders opting for the Louisville QB, thinking Sanders going un-drafted is gaining some steam.
  21. Kyle Kennard wouldn't be too bad a choice either.
  22. Yes, yes he was, hopefully one of Princely Umanmielen or Landon Jackson is next at 62.
  23. Princely Umanmielen and Landon Jackson still on the board, still some decent choices for OL left as well.
  24. Ersery now gone, almost everyone we wanted for the Bears is gone.
  25. Don't mind Burden, can still look at OL/DT or RB at 41.
