  1. I asked the same question, think a run play could have worked. Didn't the Niners drop 8 in coverage with the snap?
  2. Not to mention the incessant blabbing about Purdy, Caleb made some throws that Purdy, on his best day, could only dream of making. The Bears are trending upwards, Caleb' getting better, soon, will be a top 5 QB and that horsefeathers huckster can't stand it. Next week will be even worse, most especially with Collinsworth' boy, Rodgers, possibly playing his last game. A playoff spot on the line, facing another black QB.
  3. I think you're right about that, plenty of them were playing with a bug, they seemed quite a bit slower than usual.
  4. Rome has been a disappointment, however, he's missed almost of a third of the season including the portion where the Bears offense is getting better. Maybe, it's a bit premature to write him off, let's see what he can do next year with an improved Caleb.
  5. If Rome doesn't step up his game, I believe so, Burden is starting to look like the Bears' version of St. Brown.
  6. I honestly don't think the Niners are going to beat Seattle next week. The Seahawks won't be stopped by the Niners defense and the Seahawks, unlike the Bears, will be able to get a few stops or FG attempts.
  7. Does it matter? Isn't it still illegal contact? Was called earlier on the Niners.
  8. Does it appear Burden is being tackled while the ball's in air towards him and Walker?
  9. Two plays, the Bears easily win, no way in hell the Niners stop them for two plays.
  10. A little more time and the Bears win this game, no question. I wonder if some sort of rushing play would have worked? Hope Burden is okay, did not see what happened. I really hate Tirico and Collingsworth calling Bears' games, there both so-pro whoever the Bears are playing, essentially homers for the opposition.
  11. I believe so, they're not going to stop the Bears, Tirico and Collingsworth are going to be so disappointed.
  12. Send everyone at Purdy, I think you can get him to throw a pick.
  13. Jaylon isn't 100%, Gordon is out as well.
  14. They're just as pathetic as the Bears.
  15. Bears will tie the game again, no problem, Niners are just as much as sieve on defense as the Bears.
  16. Niners aren't stopping the Bears, come on Bears' defense, just a few FG's attempts is all I ask.
  17. Which surprises me, think this officiating crew is the same flag happy crew from the Commanders game.
  18. Not too worried about the Bears scoring points, fairly confident they'll chew up the Niners in the second half. Can the Bears defense limit the Niners to some FG's? If so, they'll win.
  19. Posters over at Brewers fanatic calling for MLF to be canned are nuts. I'll concede Love is a good QB, Willis? There's a reason why he was traded for a 7th round pick and not the starting QB in Tennessee along with a reason why he looks good at the moment. It's the system and it's MLF, Willis may go to some big pay day however, if it's not a system fit, there's going to be a big dose of reality for the team that installs him as QB1.
  20. Appears the Bears are almost certainly looking at the Packers in the first round. Other than wanting the game to be at Soldier Field, I'm okay with Green Bay being the opponent. Despite what happened yesterday, I still viewed the Lions as the more potent offense, not to take anything away from the Packers. In comparison, Packers' defense >> Lions' defense but, it's the Lions' offensive potential that had me concerned.
  21. Goff's relative immobility hurts them as well. granted you don't want your QB scrambling crazy but, there are times when it's absolutely necessary. Having a QB who can't move is a big liability.
  22. 3 horsefeathers passing yards for the Vikings, that's Justin Fields like for them.
  23. I wonder if the Lions window is starting to close, last season, given I've relatives who are Lions' fans. I really wanted to see them, at least, make a Super Bowl then, go to horsefeathers. Maybe, they're skipping the going to the Super Bowl part.
  24. Yeah, how do you lose a game in which the opposition, deep into the fourth quarter, had passed for -6 yards? Turn the ball over 6 times and completely piss down your legs. Just absolutely pathetic, something I honestly didn't expect from the Lions today.
  25. Swift very clearly down with ball, ball is torn out, officiating incompetence initially calls it fumble, call is corrected, Larrive - Bears' dodged a bullet. Yeah, that's what happened.
