  1. One step forward, two steps back with this horsefeathers team, can't we just fast forward to the start of football?
  2. Do some skiing as well?
  3. I'll miss it as well, enjoyed daily programming, well, there's the Winter Olympics coming up in 2026. One of the sights of the Winter Games is Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy, which, old guys, like me, might recognize as the setting for the first Pink Panther film.
  4. In this and the one above I heard quite a bit for praise for the play calling, don't think we ever heard that much last year. Have we've seen enough to say Caleb >> Justin?
  5. I think Swanson is going deep a time or two this series, he's long overdue and has lately righted the ship.
  6. I think his floor this season is average which will be a vast improvement over the past, what, 6 seasons?
  7. I'm really high on Dexter, I think he's going to emerge taking a big step forward.
  8. I don't get it either, there's something, maybe, a lack of confidence, etc., keeping him from avoiding the sack by simply getting rid of the ball.
  9. https://nflspinzone.com/posts/the-nfl-world-is-laughing-after-justin-fields-unsurprising-performance-01j4ygtf2qam - same old, same old, I was really rooting for him as a Bear but, he's fatally flawed, it's not fixable and, it has nothing whatsoever to do with the Bears "ruining" QB's.
  10. Lost that tough 5 setter vs. Poland, thought they had them after going up 2-1. Hopefully, as you said, they can bounce back vs. Brazil.
  11. Count on it, most especially if they don't win the World Series this year.
  12. Given past actions, I fully expect the Cubs to be all "in" on Soto only to have him stay in New York or sign elsewhere.
  13. Lately, been reading a plethora of negativity and worries about the OL - the expected/inevitable Jenkins' and Davis' injuries, along with Wright missing practice - I'm concerned as well. But, I know the regular season is month+ away and I'm certain Williams is going to help the OL by making decisions and getting rid of the ball. No more hoppity-hoppity-hop holding the ball deer-in-the-headlights or, at least, not as often.
  14. Extending this logic to today implies Imanaga should shut out the Twins. That is, the whole never seen a pitcher before mystery.
  15. The Cubs MO thus far this season has been one-step forward, two-steps back so, I fully expect them to face plant tonight.
  16. it's amazing Finke completed 15 laps in 14.5 minutes, think it would take me 15 minutes to do 50m.
  17. Pretty secure in the knowledge the Cardinals are done for, their starting pitching is weak. It does not appear capable of shutting teams down.
  18. Same here, as great as it was to pin three on the Cardinals, four would so much sweeter.
  19. I'm fairly certain the Cardinals are not making the playoffs still, would have been nice to kill their chances with a sweep.
  20. Just being sarcastic, there’s a real good chance he never be more than what he was as a Cub.
  21. But, but, are the Rays infallible wizards at “fixing” players?
  22. Followed up with 2 K’s and an error on an easy DP GB
  23. Even though its quite probably meaningless, I like what I saw of Collin Johnson, would like to see him get more reps in the next few games.
  24. Same here, flipped over from the Hall of Fame Game/Deadpool, after the Bellinger HR, thought patented fake rally. Then Nico gets on and steals 2nd, was almost certain Swanson, with a two strike count, was going to K. Then Tauchmen pinch hitting, thought certain he was going to make an out and the Cubs would lose in balls busting manner but, alas, it was the Cardinals who took a kick to the balls. And what a glorious kick to the balls it was.
