We just saw it's possible to close the gap in QB play between the Bears and Packers, have to work on the coaching gap next season. Really, not so much a coaching gap as it is to find a competent head coach, the Bears aren't devoid of talent and will add more next year. It's they're devoid of anything resembling good coaching.
Again, this is something Eberflus should know, little details, Eberflus misses them every time. It's the Packers, your conservative approach has never worked, if there was ever a time to be aggressive and try to get closer that was it.
I think it more on Santos kicking the ball low than anything GB did, which, of course falls on Eberflus. Everyone knows 46 yards isn't a chip shot for Santos yet, no attempt was made to get closer, that's on dumb ass.
Well, at least, Caleb didn't horsefeathers his paints today like every other Bears QB vs. the Packers for last 30 years. Really, a loss is much better in the long run, had the Bears won, it might have been enough of an excuse to retain Eberflus.
How about a change of pace for this Packers game? Win or lose, the Bears QB resembles some sort of competence? Where in the NFL rule book is written Bears' QB's have to horsefeathers their pants every time they face the Packers?
He'll play a quarter or so, before he falls and breaks his leg, or coccyx, or something. By the way, very optimistic in thinking the Bears are going to score not just one but two TDs.
I appreciate the attempt to give us hope. And, I wish it were only football related problems i.e., this or that play isn't working, etc. But, the Bears appear to be one giant cluster-horsefeathers right now with problems beyond the football field being "run" be a spinless idiot.
This BS will disappear when he's featured and targeted, instead of a slow, old man. Who could blame him for getting PO'ed about deferring or focusing on Cpt Slow?
Besides if Brown has at least one active brain cell, he'll pretty quickly figure out the ball needs to go to DJ, Rome and Kmet. Doesn't take much to arrive at such a conclusion from the film, all you need is eyesight.
Apparently Love has a knack for INT's, Bears get a pick or two deep in GB territory then anything could happen. They might even score, dare I say, a TD.
Most definitely, no more targets for Allen, Carter, Lewis or Everett, if you're going down at least try fighting with your best. Old, slow guys aren't your best.
