  1. In the same vein try Scott in place of Allen.
  2. Why is it every team besides the Bears, with a patch work OL are able to hold up, take away the Bears' best pass rushers? Yet, Bears patch work OL couldn't stop a HS team?
  3. True enough, just appeared to me, with the game on the line, going to your best, regardless, was the correct option.
  4. I think it was mistake not going to Chase, who had single coverage, game is on the line, why not go to your best?
  5. Anyone notice what the Bengals did on their potential game winning two point attempt last night? The Bears don't have the market cornered on offensive play calling ineptitude. And yes, the Ravens committed multiple penalties on that play.
  6. This and the hurry-up, Caleb seems to thrive in it, keep going with it until it's defended.
  7. Plus stepping out of bounds thereby, making him an ineligible receiver.
  8. I completely agree, I think a big part of it is shelving Allen, appeared to be a good idea but, he's done. No need to waste any more targets on him, target Moore, phase in Colin Johnson and Tyler Scott.
  9. Getting back to football, what may done to help the Bears offense? Maybe, starting to phase Allen out, phase Scott in and focus on targeting Moore? Go more max protect, try to go with something quick, more no huddle offense? I think Caleb is suited to execute such a game plan.
  10. Noticed the same things in the film, even Jenkins says his receivers let him down. And, on the fade to Allen, love how the officiating misses his left arm being held by the DB yet, somehow, magically saw leverage by Dexter on the FG attempt.
  11. Watched some of film analysis by Jenkins, don't really know how better coaching makes up for Caleb' receivers being awful. The coaching part- called plays - got them open, Caleb threw good balls, receivers didn't execute maybe Waldron has to catch the balls as well.
  12. But, yet, somehow that "winning organization" did not correct the flaws in Fields' passing game?
  13. This is something Eberflus should handle, don't know if he can hit Moore where it hurts - in the pocket book - but, there's go to be some sort of action taken. If you're hurt, fine, go down on the field, no problem. Walking off during the play shows a complete lack of respect for your team.
  14. I have to think we'll see more, no? Maybe, try Scott in place of Allen? Sure, he's mistake prone however, he does add speed and really, at this point, what have they got to lose?
  15. Getting back to plays, play calling, etc., with the plethora of OL injuries will we see more of the Bears using 2 TE's trying to block with 7?
  16. I doubt Waldron' cleaver and manipulative enough to be putting this out there simply to mess with defensive coordinators, advance scouting, etc.
  17. I agree, it's unfortunate, on his way to becoming a good player.
  18. Looking at this its frustrates me to no end. There's absolutely no excuse as why the Cubs aren't the "Dodgers" of the NL Central, shouldn't even be close.
  19. Granted, should have been called, do you believe the multiple blatant holds and a block in the back should have been called at the end of Bears-Commanders? Don't get me wrong, the Commanders success on that play was more the Bears doing than the Commanders but, still, should one of the multiple fouls been called?
  20. As bad as it was, I'm seeing a big old helping of step on their on dickituss, people are open, I'm still encouraged. Caleb is more than capable of hitting on these plays and, in time, he will.
  21. Tell you what, despite the fact the Guardians success on the hail mary was 100000000% preventable by the Bears, I'd been all over the officiating overlooking multiple holdings + a block in the back to the point of getting fined. Along, this vein, he'd should have been in officials faces and made a big case about them allowing defenders to cheap-shot and head-hunt Fields on numerous occasions last year. horsefeathers that going through official channels or following league protocol to lodge officiating complaints - it doesn't work.
  22. That whole he's lost control of his players shtick only becomes a thing when you're losing.
  23. Yeah, I really don't understand not going after Daniels at any point during the last series. You rush six on that last play and there's very little chance he that much time to pass. Also, Daniels was hurting, and was going to have trouble throwing the ball deep, gifting him the extra yardage was just plain stupid. I'm no expert but, even I could see he was going to have trouble so, why give up the extra yardage?
  24. Think they could give Oregon a game? I don't know, I have hard time seeing Indiana being able to handle Oregon' speed.
