  1. I don't want anymore wins, just Caleb' continued development and a stop to coaching malpractice/ineptitude.
  2. I know but, at least, they fired him. I really believe McCaskey was not going to pull the trigger, that's why Eberflus was allowed to go on, business as usual, until Poles got to him.
  3. Because he's a nice boy who doesn't cuss? But, seriously, I don't believe McCaskey was going to fire him, think Poles laid on the line for him.
  4. Will Poles ever get fed up and say to McCaskey - "listen, you dumb horsefeathers, your HC has lost the support of the players, he must be terminated, now" - or something to that extent? Most anyone, regardless of how professional their approach, would reach a boiling point as these dumb founded loses pile up. Guess Poles just did say something to that extent to McCaskey, if he did, I'll give him credit for trying to start to get it right.
  5. Next season how could the Bears HC job not be in the most demand? Think about it, a QB, decent roster and an ownership that'll give you multiple chances no matter how badly you horsefeathers up, What's not to like? It's got to be the most desirable job out there and it's not even close.
  6. Better question had that been a Bears player hitting Goff would a flag have been thrown? I say, 100% yes, earlier in the game they manufactured a roughing the passer call against the Bears, there's no doubt in my mind that would have drawn a flag.
  7. The shot Caleb took from the Lions LB was it cheap? Appeared to me Caleb was starting to go down and the LB targeted his knee.
  8. Honestly, letting Eberflus remain the head coach pretty much clinches a 4-13 finish with a pick inside the top 10. So adding more talent to a team with an already decent roster and a QB. Beyond that, since ownership isn't changing, they're going to have to luck into good coaching. Whomever they ultimately line up as candidates it won't be McCaskey-Poles proof, it's going to have to be the luck of the draw.
  9. The only solution is a change of ownership, current ownership is incapable of making anything resembling the correct move. It's really a shame because, Caleb appears to be the kind of QB Bears fans have waiting for all their lives and he's going to be wasted by this joke of an organization.
  10. Of course, Wright and Shelton got hurt, thought the line was starting to play OK, then, more injuries. Who knows, if Wright is not hurt Caleb' probably not sacked on the last drive.
  11. Most any "fan" can now see Eberflus must be shown the door.
  12. Wasn't there a 3-10 with the Bears giving Addison or whatever horsefeathers face receiver for the Vikings a huge cushion? And, of course, the Vikings easily converted. What's not tentative or soft about that?
  13. It a simple fact if Jim Harbaugh is coach of the Bears they win this game and are probably 8-4/9-3. But no, Bears ownership wants to win in "right" or what the horsefeathers ever way and Harbaugh is just too out there for them. Oh well, at least the Illini kicked Arkansas' ass.
  14. This what I don't understand, his approach is not working, ultimately it's going to result in his termination. Knowing this, one would think he'd change trying to save his job. Is he too dense? Does he not realize he's going to be a former head coach sometime soon?
  15. Plus finding player X who over performs in 2025 translating to an 85 or so win team, good times.
  16. Is Alabama still a possibility? Even in the remotest? Because, I believe if there's even the slightest case to justify Alabama' inclusion, it'll happen.
  17. Chalking up he loses to Washington and Green Bay to solely variance is way off. They are things Eberflus could have done in both games that could have dramatically increased the Bears chances of winning. Yes, a good deal of variance is still involved however, there is a factor of putting your players/team in a position to succeed. This is where Eberflus routinely fails, I don't know, maybe, the whole staff is football brain-dead. If me, a novice football fan, knows Daniels ribs are affecting his ability to throw deep so, let's not give him free yardage to make the Hail Mary throw shorter. Or, my kicker has to kick line drives on longer kicks, maybe, I should try to get as close as possible by running a couple of plays before attempting a FG. There's got to be someone on his staff, the supposed expert professionals who do this for a living, suggesting the same things to Eberflus.
  18. Saw a replay of the DJ to Rome pass attempt, good arm by DJ, holy horsefeathers was that DPI, wasn't questionable, just flat out blatant, didn't see Eberflus' reaction, guessing there was a feeble attempt at a complaint. I'd like to understand why it's OK to mug Bears' receivers this year, just like it was OK to head hunt Fields last year.
  19. I like the scene on their flight, fellow is sleeping on Steve Martin, coughing, Martin, disgusted, looks over at John Candy who opens his eyes - "Six bucks and my right nut were not landing in Chicago..." Lions offensive is rolling, it'll probably be ugly, Bears do have a QB and some decent receivers, they'll score some points on the Lions. Maybe, quite a few points, while giving up quite a few.
  20. Watched the Jenkins film, really nice to see a Bears QB not be overwhelmed by the Vikings and their blitzes. They had their shot, they had a big advantage being the first time Caleb has faced them and they couldn't shake him. That's got bode well for the future. Just heard Caleb was 9-12, should have been 10-12, 2 TD's vs. the Vikings blitzes, not bad.
  21. The Bears will lose, probably by double digits, however, they'll move the ball on the Lions and score some points.
  22. Most definitely, almost any coach would have helped lead the Bears to a win in the games against the Commanders, Packers, Vikings and Patriots/Cardinals. It's not rocket surgery, as we've seen, it takes a special kind of ineptness to lose games a manner like the Bears.
  23. I'd take the Bears because of Caleb, the talent and potential are there, just needs an improvement in coaching. You fix that and I'll take my chances against Detroit, Green Bay and Minnesota.
  24. If the Bears had an OC tailoring the offense, as Brown seems to be doing, to Caleb' strengths from the start. He'd be kicking the horsefeathers out of Nix and Daniels, I don't have single doubt, with better coaching, Caleb will ultimately be the best QB out of Daniels, Nix and Maye. Now it's up to Bears to luck into the right coach.
  25. Most especially against Love and Darnold, their not all that great and can be had with pressure, maybe, someone should inform Eberflus.
