  1. Bad and boring about sums it up.
  2. What Philly has done with him is put him behind the best OL in the league. Also drafted and traded for WRs with 1st round picks. Bears are a long way from being able to emulate that. Very Bears Way
  3. Hurts is the model for Fields. They should be trying to emulate what Philly has done with him.
  4. On a normal team he would still be in the minor league. I think it’s a bit too early to write him off.
  5. Miley worked fast and awful
  6. I think the important point here that most people are agreeing with is that they need to allow him to fail through opportunity. He may be holding the ball too long, and he isn't finding the open receiver, but they also aren't allowing him enough opportunity to learn. Maybe they see it in practice, if so their job is to correct it, not design running plays in games on 2 and 16 down a few scores.
  7. He's looking down his primary receiver and holding the ball way too long. OK, I guess you are right. It's still a little too early. But what you posted is like deja vu for every other failed QB the Bears have had. It's too early, he doesn't have help, too many coaches, etc etc. I find it to be more likely at this point he will ultimately fail, for whatever reason(s) we want to point to. But since this season isn't going to be a good one anyway, I'm OK continuing to play him. He had 11 pass attempts all game. Failure is assured.
  8. There is working a game plan to Fields ability and then there is not giving him any chance to succeed. It makes little sense to just not try, but the more things change, the more they stay the same.
  9. That did not look like the same Green Bay team that played Minnesota a week earlier. I know week 1 and all, but they destroyed the LOS all night on both sides of the ball.

    NFL Week 2

    Crazy finish to that game.
  11. Not that it matter but the ump has screwed the Cubs twice in the bottom of the 9th.

    NFL Week 2

Saints/Tampa is the most boring game I’ve ever watched. Switched to the Cubs, no better.
  13. 40 pitches in the 1st inning.
  14. Mervis with HR 34. Can’t wait to see him play.
  15. Assad can’t find the strike zone.
  16. Auburn imploding after the half. The mark of a poorly coached team.
  17. PSU pulling away.
  18. Michigan hasn’t really played anyone and won’t for a good long while, but they can put up some points with that offense. If no one gets hurt, I think they make it two in a row over OSU.
  19. PSU/Auburn pretty even so far. That’s good news for Auburn.
  20. Wisdom back to a regular bat
  21. Good crowd at the game. PTR choking on all the dollar bills. The Obvious Shirt dude took a bath on Frank In the shape of a tank shirts.
  22. This is the third game I’ve totally missed this year. That’s more than I can ever remember.
  23. McGeary, he was the D2 guy with video game numbers(1.640 OPS!) that also hit really well with wood in the Appalachian League. Probably not gonna add any defensive value so hopefully he keeps raking. Yeah, on the video I saw (I can’t find it on Twitter) the ball was demolished.
  24. 15th round pick smoked a ball out in the MB game. Haydn ?
