    scrabble has a career OPS against of like .800 against RH batters and .550 against LH batters. the sample sizes above aren't significant, given that ross has faced lefty pitching only 15 times this season.

    even if he could play a competent lf, coghlan has an .800 ops against RHP despite hitting into a lot of bad luck this year, and denorfia has been raking (and has a career line of .293/.359/.430/.789 against LHP). unless soler is hurt for longer than expected or comes back and struggles (remember, his OPS is just .724 and that's with a babip of .383), there's not really a need for schwarber in the lineup right now. just send him to iowa and keep working on the D.
