  1. nice throw, claussen
  2. and now one of notre dame's offensive lineman just hurt himself running onto the field? what the hell is going on?
  3. i think notre dame wanted to slow down the field, but they watered the wrong side.
  4. seriously if i was playing florida, i would just tell my entire team to go get tim tebow every play if the gators were inside the 10 yard line.
  5. hahaha notre dame
  6. i think meph needs to change his pants
  7. tebow should be #1 overall, even if he doesn't turn pro
  8. lol @ sec refs
  9. You go ahead and think that. I hope you are being sarcastic, I really do. Which school can offer Saban the money, the power (he's got full control of the football program, Moore the AD is essentially a figurehead) the tradition that Alabama has. Schools that fit this description (USC/OU/FSU/PSU/Texas) either already have their coaches or they will have their next coach in line to succeed their current coach. And outside of those kind of schools, Nick Saban isn't going to take a step down in the coaching hierarchy, ie leaving Alabama for a school like Clemson. That would be like Mack Brown leaving Texas for Baylor. Do you see that happening? Cause if you honestly do see that happening, please pass me what your smoking cause that must be some good............ Contrary to the pubic persona that Nick has shown, Nick and his family absolutely do love it in Alabama. There are two fears that Nick has admitted to: 1: He will never return to Morgantown, WV. Why? Because even at 57 he still has fear of following his father into the coal mines. Irrational? Yes. But it what motivates the man. 2: Saban has grown tired of being label a merc (I understand why people would call him that and I understand why Saban has grown tired of it). He's not leaving Alabama anytime. Now I understand you may be pushing my bottoms on this subject, and if that's the case, kudos to you kind sir. I just don't see Saban leaving Alabama. Saban has already done the NFL thing THREE TIMES (Browns/Dolphins/Oilers) and a coach of his statute does not take a step down in the college ranks. Put it this way, Pete Carroll is more likely to leave USC then Saban is to leave Alabama. pubic persona? pushing my bottoms???
  10. so saban is afraid that if he went to coach at west virginia, they'd make him go mine some coal?
  11. wow notre dame just had a ridiculously lucky long pass.
  12. wisconsin with two spectacular chokes in the state of michigan.
  13. congrats, but that seriously is one of the worst coaching decisions i've seen in a long, long time. How so? I would have tried to push it. Had Decker not let that go right through his hands, they're in pretty good position. no idea why they were throwing the ball on third and 10 from their own 12 or whatever, and it's a tall task to go from your own 29 and get in field goal position in less than 30 seconds with no time outs. plus they're at home... play for OT. lol @ wisconsin, nice choke
  14. congrats, but that seriously is one of the worst coaching decisions i've seen in a long, long time.
  15. great coaching, minnesota.
  16. i'm pretty sure that derosa is earning his keep.
  17. i somehow ended up with willis mcgahee on every team this year, and he sucks
  18. i hope the bears know that about 90% of all people left in survivor football are counting on them this weekend.
  19. luca sbisa played for the flyers tonight, so he's sticking around for the rest of the year apparently. i think he would've been better off in junior, but two of our defensemen are out through at least mid-December, and he's getting about 18 minutes of ice time a night. about 10 years ago we kept dainius zubrus at age 18, and he spent all year getting about 7 minute a night on the 3rd/4th line.
  20. these are awesome... for us to laugh at. if he wants to be a good head coach he shouldn't do things like this.
  21. that would be a fantastic opener for an nba game.
  22. actually i would like to do this, let's see your comparison of team top to bottom of each conference - like rank each team in one conference from best to worst, and compare it with the team in the same spot from the other conference.
  23. i believe there's an over the counter medication for that now
  24. Because it is so much harder to run through the likes of Wisconsin, Iowa, Northwestern, and Iowa, because they are legendary powers. We can debate which conference is tougher and/or have more depth, but it would be a short discussion. Besides, Ole Miss would be the Big 10 second best team, period. Have you seen Ole Miss play? Of course not, cause you're allergic to tough hard nose football.
  25. plus it's okay for usc to lose to oregon state because they're worn out from their brutal non-conference game against virginia.
