  1. Don't worry, you've got a bye week coming next week. i really thought we would be good this season. we've beaten one decent team and that's it. pretty disappointing year.
  2. our red zone offense is a joke. we suck.
  3. shut it
  4. okie st's qb is a dumbass.
  5. miami and usc are done (as far as the bcs goes)
  6. I'm pretty sure there were two or three chop blocks called in the Missouri game today. if i watch football most of the weekend i usually see at least one called, especially if it's a textbook chop block like the one that was properly called on notre dame.
  7. man this is classic wannstache....
  8. tcu is really really good. they're not going to get a shot at the title but hopefully they play a team like alabama or florida in a bcs bowl.
  9. That was a horse [expletive] roughing call though. In an unrelated story, Pitt has a chance at an at-large BCS bid and more money for the Big East. how much tin foil did you use to make your hat?
  10. man washington st is just epically terrible. in the last five years, i can't think of another bcs team that has been so thoroughly uncompetitive every week.
  11. lubbock actually has over 200,000 people but everyone seems to hate it anyway.
  12. i think we discussed in one of these threads the worst places to go in the bcs conferences. if i remember correctly there was good agreement on: acc: nowhere really that bad... maybe va tech (blacksburg) big east: uconn (storrs) big ten: indiana (bloomington) and purdue (e. lafayette) big xii: iowa st (ames), kansas st (manhattan), texas tech (lubbock), baylor (waco), maybe okie st (stillwater) too? pac 10: wazzu (pullman)... maybe oregon st (corvallis)? sec: miss st (starkville)
  13. but the school is you know how espn does lead-ins (after commercials) about the location where the game is being played? a few weeks ago when mississippi st was playing, one of the lead-ins they did in the second quarter was of a prison in starkville. i though to myself, starkville must suuuuuuuuuuck.
  14. assuming next week is an automatic loss, they have to beat mizzou to even make a bowl. yikes.
  15. i wonder how committed harbaugh is to stanford. after the quick turnaround of that program and his success in recruiting, i have to think he'd be a hot commodity among high-profile programs.
  16. i don't know, the pac 10 is deep but they don't seem to have a top team, and it won't be usc playing at home again. the rose bowl will probably be a close game between two pretty good teams.
  17. these coaches need to grow a pair.
  18. i imagine with the way usc has dominated the pac 10 for several years, every other team in the conference has to be reveling in them getting completely pantsed twice this year.
  19. man usc has completely imploded. pete carroll for the opposite of coach of the year.
  20. it's too bad lloyd carr retired... with paterno, tressel, carr and ferentz it was a who's who of conservative coaches.
  21. I love that they went for 2. Hilarious. Haha. Harbaugh is awesome. I reserve the right to reverse this opinion in 2 weeks when Stanford is laying the wood to Notre Dame, though. did they really try for 2 points, or was it one of those situations where the snap was bad and they end up going for 2 on a broken play?
  22. that's what i thought when we played them, then he threw a 60 yard td pass.
  23. paging voice of reason for comment on today's game.
  24. strasburg today - 3.2 IP, 1 H, 0 R, 2 BB, 6 K. keep your eye on this kid, he might be a good one.
  25. yay holy cross!
