playing gyorko at SS is like playing someone like todd walker there. dude has power, but he's going to give back a lot with his way below-par range and weak arm there.

I feel like he considered people here part of his extended family, and just loved being with fellow Cub fans when he was out on the road. I'm sad for his family and especially his wife that he didn't get to live out his later years with them after spending so much time on the road. I hope the last couple of years, or however long it was that he was retired, was a rich and rewarding time together.
