Does Drew have a no trade contract?

No.

Now the big question is....is he insurable? :D

Drew would fit in perfectly for the injury ridden Cubs.

Cruz is someone I was interested in - I do like Bradley more though and this indicates the Dodgers are likely to trade or non tender him.

I personally think Dusty is just the manager for Bradley.

Sarcasm?

If Bradley produces, I am fine with him hating all peoples, Jeff Kent and his family included.

None at all. Both Baker and Bradley are African-American. Hopefully, Bradley will believe that Dusty can relate to his struggles, whether those are perceived or real.

Dusty is supposed to have a reputation to soothe the savage souls. Hopefully, he can work his magic with Bradley.

I'd definitely take a flyer on him. The Dodgers are likely to trade him away cheaply, and I'd love for the Cubs to benefit from it.

The Cubs should be first in line for Bradley.

He gives you a guy capable of hitting fifth behind Lee and Ramirez, in case you don't get Giles to hit third in front of those guys.

If you get Bradley and Mench, you can pick which one you want to keep for RF in 2007 when (we hope) Pie is in place in CF and producing.

I'm not so sure he'll be all that cheap. There are multiple teams that need a CF which creates more of a seller's market. Also, credit the Dodgers for not painting themselves into a corner with regards to trading Bradley. They probably will move him but they expect value in return.

I think the Cubs could have really cheap if they're willing to pick up Lowe's contract as well.
