Cubs announce 2006 schedule(s)

The regular season schedule is out.

 

The tentative 2006 spring training schedule is out too.

Yay, I'll be able to go to all the Dodger/Padres games in SoCal this year. I might even make arrangements to go to Arizona or Colorado this year as well.

Looks like the only time we play the Cards is on the weekend. Interesting, but good for me.

Looks like Ill be heading up there on a Friday night. The last time I was up in Milwaukee for a Friday game was in early September of 2003. Cubs won the game 4-2, Sammy hit a two run bomb in the first, and Juan Cruz picked up the win. Even Alfonseca had a huge strikeout to get out of a jam. And best of all, there had to be over 20,000 Cub fans. Man those were the good old days.

I was there for 2 of those games. I think game 1 and 2. One was Randall Simon's first game in Milwuakee after Sausagegate, and the game after. I believe the Cubs blew out the Brewers in both those games.
