I stopped caring the second that the Angels lost. I am probably cheering against the White Sox the most but I am not backing either team.

Since I've been out of Chicago for over a decade, I have little exposure to annoying Sox fans. I'll root for the Sox. It's about time the city has a WS champion again, and maybe it'll light a fire under the Cubs to go and do the same.

Historically, 100% of White Sox World Championships have been followed by a Cubs World Series appearance the next year, so we should root for the White Sox so the Cubs can make the Series next year. Of course, that's only happened twice, so it's a small sample size.
