My dad's been doing that since day 1 of the post season, claiming that any team he roots for will lose. Yet look where they are now.

The White Sox have this obnoxious habit of scoring three runs or working out of an impossible jam unscathed every time I turn the TV on, so I've been staying away all together. And were I to use the same logic as in the first post, I would definitely be using that mojo against the Sox, not the Cards.

 

Both rivals are a pain, but the Cards have already won 9 rings, so a 10th wouldn't make much difference, but the Sox going from 0 rings in the last 85 years to 1 would have a profound effect on life in Chicago.
