NSBB Moving to new home!

The board is going to go down tomorrow afternoon around 3pm central in advance of the move to the new server. I'm not sure how long it will take to get everything over, but I'm hoping that everything will be functional by Monday afternoon/evening.

 

Sorry for the inconvenience, but this will put NSBB on a much more robust platform than we've ever been on.

Yeah, I got it straightened out. But we'd be on the new box already if it weren't for that hangup.

Couldn't you have gotten things started at 12 PM CST instead of 3 PM? At least from 12-3 I'll have the Bears game to keep me occupied. :D

It should go okay. I've already tested the process and copied everything over there once to work out the bugs.

Bastard ISP company (ipowerweb) that I used to use, though, now tells me that domain transfers can only take place during business hours, so it will be 24 hours from tomorrow morning until the change gets propogated completely through the net. As if they needed to give me more reason to feel good about leaving them.
