NLDS: Cardinals Sweep Padres 3-0

I'm really looking forward to seeing Peavy shut down the Cardinals twice in one series. Since I live in San Diego, I'll have to show them my support during the playoffs.

 

Peavy 13-7 2.88 ERA

Carpenter 21-5 2.83 ERA

 

 

This series will be all about pitching. He who pitches best, wins. Both teams have offensive weapons. St. Louis is battered and bruised, but will probably still have enough ammo to carry a 5 game series.

 

My prediction St. Louis over Padres in 4 games.

Looking forward to the 2 AL games tonight. Would love to see Red Sox-Angels in the ALCS and keep the White Sox and Yankees out.

 

Although I'm not from Chicago, so I don't really hate the White Sox.

 

I guess as long as the Cardinals or the Yankees don't make the WS, I'm ok with whatever happens.

EDIT: He was out, but if sliding into first is your best option, then something went wrong defensively.
