It's time for Chicago Cubs OCTOBER baseball.

 

RHP Roger Clemens (12-8, 1.89 ERA) starts for the Astros and the Cubs counter with RHP Jerome Williams (6-9, 4.28 ERA). As a Cub, Jerome has posted a 6-7 record with a 3.55 ERA; he also has a 2.10 ERA in September.

A Couple of Notes:

I can't believe how many stupid lineup decisions Dusty makes. It's like he relies entirely on truisms and favoritisms to construct them instead of thinking them through.

Would it really kill Dusty to bat Murton in front of Lee? Especially when it's Macias AND Perez in front of him? I think I'm going to cry.

Clemens at 83 pitches. Hopefully Williams can hang in there and we can get into the Astros bullpen.

 

with his leg injury, i can't imagine they'll let him go too far beyond 100 pitches. williams has pitched much better than Clemens so far.
