Dreaded first inning strikes again.

You're going to have to update those of us who have been thwarted by FOX's evil stranglehold on Saturday day game baseball.

Sorry. It's on Comcast here.

Was that a DP to end the inning?

No. Sac Fly makes it 2-0 Giants.

Runners at corners, 2 down and another 3-2 count.

Ronny hit by pitch on his hand ... looked and sounded painful, trainer comes out, but Ronny staying in game.

Do you mean for the game or season, Raisin?

FOX doesn't make the rules. Complain to MLB.

With its myriad of Internet and mobile ventures, MLB is at the cutting edge of sports broadcasting. Why they conduct Saturday regional telecasts like it's 1972 is a mystery to me.

Thankfully there are ways around the regs.

I know, but FOX did broker the deal, as you said, like it's 1972. We have sattelite TV for crissake, people don't need the "Game of the Week" in order to follow their favorite teams (and with FOX, your favorite team better be the BoSox, Yanks, Cards, Cubs, Braves, Dodgers or Giants)

Season (yeah, I'm probably overreacting). It's not something the team would do, but he's (maybe or is it just Dusty who thinks that?) got the leg injury too. His arm has just not bounced back from the career-high IP and all those pitches thrown in 2003.

Gah, I hope Ronny isn't too hurt.

It's impossible for me to say without knowing what's going on with the latest "is he or isn't he injured?" stories. If he isn't, then I'd want to see him finish out the season but keep him on short leash.

Of course, I have no faith in Dusty's ability to manage that and instead expect to be treated to some CG ridiculous outing at some point in the next few weeks.

Ugh, Neifi in. Grrrrrreat.

I think Dusty brokered a deal with Hennessey before the game to get his boy back in the lineup. "Go for the hand dude, go for the hand."
