Grr, Jaxx lose 2-1 because of a balk call that sounds questionable.

Oh well, great broadcast despite the outcome of the game.

Bad call on the sacrifice by Greenberg. One of the toughest outs in the lineup, I would have liked to have him hitting with EP on second base. I would have sent Eric on the straight steal instead of sacrificing.

But I hate bunts in general.

great broadcast (especially the parts I heard!!) and an exciting game ... wish it would have finished the right way, but job well done.

Thank you for listening everyone, I really do appreciate it! Today was such an enjoyable day in so many regards. I was able to interview Brandon Sing in addition to getting to interview and award Eric Patterson the POY award. Of course the highlight was being able to call the game with Ron.

I already have a great respect for our broadcasters, but you have no clue just how hard that job is until you do it. There is so much information to process and so many things to be done at the same time! Ron is just as great in person as he is on the broadcasts. Many thanks to all of the folks in the Diamond Jaxx organization for making so many things possible this season. A big thank you to everyone who donated money for the JDRF auction. I encourage all of you to contact Serena for info on how you can supoort the Peoria Chiefs in their effort to support the hurricane victims. A special thank you to Ron for such a great night in the booth! It would not offend me at all to ever have that opportunity, it was so much fun! Maybe by then I'll have some original phrases!

If you have not already, I encourage you to contact our Minor League affiliates and their broadcasters and let them know how much you appreciate their hard work!

Thanks again Ron!

did anybody watch Pawelek?? His Boise WHIP is an astronomical 2.34, but only allowed 1 unearned run.

I think that WHIP might be a bit deceptive. He gave up 6 hits and 1 BB, with only one of those hits being for extra bases. I'm curious as to how many of those 5 hits were legit. Remember that defense at that level is not all that advanced.

yeah, I wasn't actually serious with the bad WHIP.

I went back to the archived Boise game and watched an inning of Pawelek. Looked like he had a nice fastballs, nice big curve ball (11-5, I suppose), and a pretty decent change that dove a little down and in to the right-handed batter.
