Nope. There is no reason for Zambrano to still be in there now. The score is 12-3. He should not have come out for the 8th.

Inexcusable. As Vance said, there is no reason why he should still be out there. None at all.

Got to love Dusty. Even in a game we are leading 12-3 he manages to do something stupid and dangerous.

 

I would let Z and Pior pitch on a pitch count of 100 for the next 2 weeks and then shut them down completly. No Playoff chance and No Cy Young race mean there is zero reason to pitch them by mid september.
