Some "lifelong" fan... :roll: I admit, I am NOT happy with this team or anything to do with it right now.....BUT...I am a Cubs fan through and through. Just my 2 cents.

At least the drive from NW Indiana will be easier for him. If the Sox don't win the WS, I assume he'll follow the Gary Railcats of the Northern League.

Kind of reminds me of that guy a few years back who was a Giants fan and put his "fanship" up for sale to the highest bidder once the team got rid of Matt Williams and such. I think he's an Indians fan now. Anyone else remember that?

It's funny he mentions the runner scoring from 1st on a single. I thought it was funny too. Jose Macias can play every position, but that's not to say he can play them well. And if that wasn't enough, it happens on ESPN in front of the entire world. [-( Nice call Dusty!

I used to think like that too, but as the decades pile on and the cycle of incompetence continues, I can see where a person would have had his fill.

 

Heck, at times during the losing streak, I wished that I could turn myself into a Cardinal fan!
