i hope hill can go at least 7 today..then wood in the 8th and dempster in the 9th and walah cubs win.

That's nice, but the offense has to chime in sometime. ;)

you were saying?

I know what I was saying, I typed that after ARAM's HR... and it's only tied, they don't lead yet. The rest of that inning backs up my original statement. :P

Way to help out the Mets defense Jeromy by ducking out of the way and not even sliding into the base, you FAT, LAZY SLOB.

I think he thought he was in a run down. They did send him.

ARAMABOMB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not much of one, but it counts just the same.

And Nomar promptly hits a weak grounder for an out. :(

Gawd, Nomar, why do you stink so much this season???

I hope that's sarcasm, and you're gonna give him more than one AB on his comeback.

Not sarcasm, just impatience and remembering the first month of the season. You should have seen him at ST - en fuego. The utter lack of production when the season began just floored me.

Haha...Ron told Dusty on the pregame "you've got to be patient with glavine because he doesn't give you anything good to hit"...Dusty replied telling him that "he either comes right at you and runs, or runs and then comes at you." Looks like the Cubs are sitting on the "he comes right at you" theory. Take a pitch guys.

Can someone explain to me what burnitz was doing on that play? Not sliding, or trying to take out the 2B? Pulling up short and then ducking?

Would have been a very easy double play, even if Burnitz would go in as hard as he can.

I think he may have been too close to slide once he realized that the second baseman gloved the ball.

So much for that generous outside corner...

You can't nibble with your fastball, Rich.

Please DFA Burnitz next, this guy is the black hole for stinky offense.

Please don't ever make OHCF our GM. Thanks.
