What do you mean? Unless the O's pick up his option, I think Sammy's available. :P

how do you change the "link" from looking like http://etc....to just saying link in blue?

thanks

Instead of just including the link in your post, use the URL button. In the open URL tag, you can set url= to the link, and between the open URL tag and the close URL tag type the text you want displayed.

Example: (just remove the extra spaces below to make it work)

[ url = ... ] text [ / url ]

the guy i would really like the cubs to pursue id reggie sanders. he is amzingly consistent. he is known as a great teammate. and being injured he will come cheaper, which is certainly hendry's style. i'm pretty sure we could get him for burnitz' money or less.

my wish list;

Carlos Lee, Guillermo (SP!) Mota, Billy Wagner

notables- Jose Guillen, BJ Ryan

I don't know if you were counting all of those as FA's, but Lee has an option that will in all likelihood be picked up(it's only 500k more than he's making this year). Guillen is signed through 2006 at a reasonable price for his production, and Mota has another year of arbitration.

Most of those guys are aging vets. 2006 might be the year of the youth movement across all baseball, not just small and mid-market teams.

Mulder has an option for 6.75 give or take .5 mill option for next year as well

Marquis is arb. elligable

Suppan has an option that is cheap for a 13-16 game winner

Carp has signed and extension for 6 mill a year over 3 years

Updating previous reports, the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Joe Strauss reports St. Louis Cardinals SP Chris Carpenter's two-year extension is believed to be for about $6 million per season if his 2008 option vests. The money is below market value if Carpenter stays healthy. "This is the place I want to play," Carpenter said. "At some point in time you've got to factor the money people talk about against the fact I enjoy coming to the park every day and being around these guys."

Morris will be the only FA pitcher we could lose..and probally to NY mets or yankees seeing that he is from there
