Why was Hairston removed from the 7/26 game?

Not sure if this was discussed elsewhere, but at the game last night we were trying to figure out why JHJ was replaced by Macias?

 

The only thing I could think of was that he hurt himself somehow earlier in the game or he was being traded.

 

He's also not starting in today's game (7/27).....

 

 

What's the story? Anyone hear anything said about that?

He did. That's why he's out today and was replaced last night.

Weird. Wasn't that in the 1st inning? Strange that he'd play through it for most of the game and then come out.

I'm guessing it started to tighten up on him as the game went along.

 

After he fouled that pitch off he seemed to tweak it again when he couldn't decide if he was going to slide or not going into 2nd. I can't remember if that was after his 1st or 2nd AB, but he seemed to really be limping after that.
