Harvey went 3/4 with a double and 2 RBIs today. Also, Milb.com is not updating the box scores for some reason. I'll post all of the numbers whenever they post them.

CUBS FALL SHORT IN 13TH, LOSE 6-4

Daytona Made A Valiant Comeback Effort But Ran Out Of Steam In the Extra Frames

By Bo Fulginiti

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla—Just one day removed from a 6-0 victory that lasted only one hour and 54 minutes, the Daytona Cubs decided to stay awhile on Monday night at Jackie Robinson Ballpark.

In Game 2 of a four-game series against the Dunedin Blue Jays, the two teams engaged in a 13-inning Florida State League battle that lasted close to four hours and included 11 pitchers, as the Jays overcame a late Cubs rally and held on to win by a final of 8-6.

Cubs starter Anderson Tavarez was shaky early as he coughed up four earned runs in the first three innings. But the righty settled in as he went 5.1 innings on the hill and struck out three for the no-decision.

Trailing 4-0 heading into the sixth inning against Blue Jays starter Mike MacDonald, the Cubs refused to go down without a fight as an RBI single from Chris Walker knocked in Tony Richie to put Daytona on the scoreboard.

Walker then saved the real fireworks for the bottom half of the eighth, as he smoked a three-run homer over the left field wall off of Dunedin closer Milton Tavarez to tie the game at 4-4 and send the contest into extra innings.

Finally after 12 grueling frames it was Blue Jays shortstop Manny Mayorson who poked a two RBI single to left centerfield off of Cubs righty Alfredo Polanco (1-2) to score first baseman Mike Snyder and pinch hitter Scott Dragicevich and give Dunedin a two-run cushion they wouldn’t relinquish.

Right-hander Jeremy Harper (3-4) was credited with the victory after pitching two solid innings of relief for the ‘Jays, as Dunedin righty Mark Sopko also recorded his first save of the season.

With the loss the Cubs dropped to 11-19 as the Blue Jays improved to 17-14 for the second half.

Both teams will try to overcome their depleted bullpens in Game 3 on Tuesday night, as the Cubs send righty Randy Wells (5-1, 3.26 ERA) to the hill to face Blue Jays righty Davis Romero (3-6, 4.24 ERA).

First pitch is scheduled for 7:05 p.m. EST.
