TOP OF THE SIXTH INNING

 

Stupid Morgan Statements = 3

Over/Under = 6

 

#1 - "...as a lead off hitter, you have to think like a leadoff hitter"

#2 - "...Neifi's having a fabulous season!"

#3 - "...the ball is carrying well tonight"

#4 - "...Would you rather have your offense generating the best possible numbers or the pitching staff say, you know, down the stretch?" (based on stunning use of syntax)

#5 - "..."if you're a Cubs fan you have to be happy with what you've gotten from neifi perez in place of Nomar."

 

I'm going for a run...feel free to pick of the baton on Morgan Score Board. If I don't drop dead for heat, I'll be back in time for the 1-2-3 bottom of the 9th.

Sorry everyone, but fillm0re (the artist formerly known as fillmore, also banned) is no longer among the active.

I have built a shrine to you in my bedroom closet.

Modzilla does not like dirty laundry. There better be an air freshener in there.

 

He was previously banned for an apparent urine obsession. And besides, he would have been banned anyways for being a moron. Replacing "o" with "0" is a tad obvious.

My wife won't let me put my dirty laundry in the closet. god knows I've tried that method.

Modzilla wears no clothes, so that is not a problem.

 

Oh, and I'd like to apologize to everyone for not having the power to ban Joe Morgan.

he's said it twice now. I think the word he used to describe Neifi's season during the first inning was "spectacular"

 

Hold on, let's be a little more objective here. Neifi was hitting .325 earlier in the year and seemingly in the middle of everything that was good for the Cubs. He was spectacular but he's back to his career .260ish BA and now we're upset. I'd say we are a bit spoiled afterall, we were expecting a good Garciaparra at SS and not Neifi on a regular basis.

Awww...I think it's safe to say that we like you as well.

 

I've got a thread over in rivalries right now about my trip.

 

The Cubs fans down in the Lou were great this weekend. We don't root for the same teams, but I think we're both the best fans in baseball.

So here's one thing about that Mountain Dew commercial. If you were that guy, could you go about hooking up with that chick knowing that she was just a transfigured version of your buddy? I know I couldn't.
