That article was really onesided (no surprise). Yes, the Cardinals were playing a deleted lineup however, Matt Morris is one of their team's aces and he gave up 6 ER. Meanwhile, our fifth starter, who spent part of the year in the minor leagues, out pitched Morris. That game would not have been as close if an error had not been committed by Walker to yield a run.

 

Also, the Cardinals had two of their everday players in the game when it mattered and they did not get it done... I don't look for objectivity from St Louis sports writers. :wink:

He mentioned Neifi in his article. He didn't say anything about Nomar or Wood. That guy must be trying to get on that awful show before Pardon The Interruption.
