But Dunican now has more pressing concerns than the screens.

On Sept. 30, the same day the Cubs' season ended, a federal judge ruled in favor of the team, ordering Dunican to stop selling tickets to his rooftop -- a victory for the Cubs who have called his operation "parasitic." Dunican told ESPN he is weighing his options for an appeal and intends to continue to fight to keep his 30-year-old business going next season --in what could be considered a quixotic fight against the inevitable or a principled stand for the little guy.

Why ESPN is still giving these people any oxygen is beyond me.

You mean the station pumping millions into the pockets of Steven A Smith and Pat McAfee's pockets? Yeah, they're renowned for their good decisions.

Not sure i understand.  Are you saying some people (like yourself) don't like rooftop owners?  If so, why?  Genuinely curious.

I get really irked when outlets try to frame them like small time mom and pop businesses being forced out by Goliath, when really they own properties and businesses worth millions of dollars, run a business model based on freeloading, and (speaking from personal experience) are genuinely unpleasant people.

Don't get me wrong, horsefeathers the Ricketts family in all sorts of ways, but this is one of those fights where I'd rather everyone lost.
