Why? He is better offensively and defensively at SS than Tejada.

 

miguel has intangibles. when he won the mvp, his team didnt finish last.

I wouldn't put Jeter in that champion category...he is a pretty boy, above-average offensive shortstop, but not an elite, top-tier player like Arod or Tejada. The Yanks aren't winning anymore because they have too many players like him, and not enough like Paul O'Neill, who led the team before they started trying to buy championships.

How about we take both of them off the Yankees' hands and put them in the embracing warmth of "player's manager" Dusty Baker. They'll be back to being old friends in no time. Then we make A-Rod the starting shortstop and Jeter the back-up. :lol:
