Should be RH Jesse Estrada (4-7, 4.95 ERA) going for the Chiefs; don't know who the Bees pitcher will be.

Iowa: LHP Raul Valdez (5-2, 3.91 ERA) @ RHP R.A. Dickey (0-3, 6.51 ERA)

West Tenn: LHP Renyel Pinto (4-0, 1.63 ERA) vs RHP David Bradley (2-1 2.28 ERA)

Daytona (game 1): RHP Juan Mateo (5-2, 3.48 ERA)

Daytona (game 2): LHP J.R. Mathes (6-3, 3.22 ERA)

Peoria: RHP Jesse Estrada (4-7, 4.95 ERA) - thanks for Jesse's stats, Serena.

Boise: LHP Darin Downs (1-0, 0.00 ERA, 10 IP) <--Darin will pitch, not sure if he'll start or not.

Not a pretty day down on the farm for many of the pitchers.

Welly though 3 innings: 5 hits, 3 ER, 1 BB, 5 K

Estrada through 4 innings: 7 H, 5 R, 3 ER, 0 BB, 4 K

and the cherry on top!

Juan Mateo: 0 IP, 6 H, 7 R, 5 ER, 1 BB - Note: that's right, no outs.

Pinto started out well with 1 hit, 2 BB, 1 K, and no runs through 3 innings with a 7:1 groundout to fly out ratio. However, he got into some trouble in the 4th, giving up 2 earned runs on 3 hits.

Apparently Piggy is in the bullpen down at Iowa... He pitched 2 innings and got 3 Ks today without giving up anything. Also, Soto went 0-2 with 2 walks.

Being a lefty, I'm hoping Piggy keeps up the good work, he'll have trade value. He's already past Rohlicek and Koronka IMO. I wouldn't be surprised to see him as a throw-in in a trade with a team desperate for pitching, like the Reds or Phils.

Unfortunately, Wellemeyer and Leicester, two other prime trade bait pitchers, are doing nothing to help us here. Ice in particular, I'm very disappointed in him this year, don't know what the problem is there.

No box scores up yet? I'll post links but don't feel like typing them out:

Iowa loses 6-5 to Oklahoma

D-Jaxx lose 5-2 to Huntsville

Daytona loses game 1 of DH 1-0

I can't find the box score for game 2.

Peoria loses 8-0 against Burlington

Boise wins 5-2 over Tri-City

ASL Cubs win 6-0 over ASL Padres

Downs and Williamson with strong performances today. Piggy had a good appearence out of the pen in Iowa. Sing gets another HR in West Tenn. Mathes had a CG in Daytona but the game only went 7 because it was a DH game. He only allowed 1 run (unearned). Fuld had the only multi-hit game in Peoria. Culpepper and Taylor both with 4-hit games in Boise. Downs went 5 innings with a 7/2 ratio. Defendis and Rivera with multi-hit games in Mesa.

I know, when I started they weren't up and by the time I was done they were. But mine were up before all of yours were up :P

good to see Willamson getting stretched out with two innings stints. How many innings does he have under his belt so far?
