Given how big and strong Brian was in HS and still is (he's probably the strongest guy in the Cubs system), I think if he was on steroids and came off it, his power numbers would still be much higher than they have been this year. Something else is wrong with Dopirak.

 

And just wantonly accusing players of steroid abuse without any proof is not kosher. 50% of Cubs minor leaguers might well have been on steroids, but that isn't proof that Brian Dopirak himself ever was.

I don't think that it is fair to make this assumption. Everything that I have heard about him has been that he is a very hard worker. I have heard that several times in reference to the work that he has put in on his defense. While it is possible that this occured, I think that it is rather unlikely.
