Cam Smith Promoted to High-A South Bend

About as no-brainer of a promotion as you will ever see.

I really do hope he and Shaw can replace Parades and Nico by '26.

South Bend has 2  weeks left in their season. Tennessee has 3 weeks plus the playoffs. Would be great if Cam forced the Cubs’ hand yet again and got promoted to Tennessee in two weeks, a la Matt Shaw last year.

He has enough skill to stick at 3rd and might be athletic enough to stick in right? Sounds like damning with faint praise!
