Hendricks was a little more defiant (maybe not quite the right word) in his post-game comments last night.  He basically said he pitched great, made some pitches that should have been outs, and then had one mistake for the home run.  He didn't specifically call out the defense, but I have to imagine there was frustration with Seiya's misplay behind his comments.  I would be frustrated too if a fielder's mistake ended up resulting in getting tagged for 6 Earned Runs instead of 0.  Obivously that isn't ALL on Seiya, but the inning should have been over.

Nico also looked visibly upset after Seiya botched that play in RF.  I think frustrations about how ****** they've been are coming to a boiling point.  This is where the manager needs to get his clubhouse in order...

There better be some selling. This is a clown show of underperformance right now.

It’s been a clown show for some time now.

HR - 30th

BA - 28th

OBP - 29th

SLG - 30th

wOBA - 29th

wRC+ - 29th

fWAR - 29th

Its not personal, its just competitors tired of sucking.  You can't keep those frustrations bottled in all the time, if you're passionate about winning it's going to come out in the moment, especially when as a team you've been fighting to not get broken up by the FO at this point.  I can't be mad at any of them for getting mad, or get mad at Seiya for not being a great fielder, i'm sure he's trying his best.  Counsell can't tell them not to care.
