Most notably, the larger lettering will return, mismatched greys will be fixed, and the uniforms' propensity to collect sweat will be addressed.

The bad news is that "at latest" the fixes will be made in time for the 2025 season, so it could still be a while. But it will be fixed.

According to the memo, the union is absolving Fanatics for the issues and blaming Nike, which is sort of interesting.

This always seemed like the biggest disconnect in the reaction to the whole thing, to me.  Once it came out that Fanatics had made the uniforms for years from the same factory, and that this was an intentional new design from Nike, then the problem pretty clearly points to poor design and testing moreso than getting mad at Fanatics because they have a crappy consumer reputation.

Yeah, this one is entirely on the ****** template. I'm usually captain "Fanatics Sucks" because, well, Fanatics kind of sucks...but Nike earned this blame. The new template simply doesn't work, looks cheap, and wasn't really needed (were players complaining about the performance of the last stuff?). I'm glad to see the player and the league pushback here. I was concerned the league would have just hoped this went away, but credit to them for forcing the issue. Sadly, it sounds like the base template is "here to stay" (per the league) so I'll be interested to see how they fix the template (instead of just going back to the last one). 

The league makes a bunch of really bad uniform decisions, but they got one right.

Apparently the uniforms being fully fixed for 2025 was a white lie. Somehow, due to 'production delays,' only the road uniforms will be ready for 2025 and the home uniforms won't be ready until 2026.

They'd better have fixed the damn letters by 2025, even if the full implementation isn't ready yet. This is way more important to me than it should be.

Oh, and the ASG will again feature regular uniforms being worn by the players, not the stupid garbage of the past few years.

Don't know why no one has thought of melding these two ideas. Have the player's team uniform, but replace the city/team name with "American" or "National" (in the same font/style as the regular uniform). You'd sell a horsefeathers ton of them.
