My initial thought was that if Mark Grace had played his entire career in Colorado, his numbers would have looked really similar to Helton's.  Maybe not quite the same home run totals, but certainly much closer to where he would be in the HOF conversation.

The HoF continues to fail. Helton(54.9 fWAR) and Mauer(53.0) get in, meanwhile Andruw Jones(67.0), Chase Utley(61.6) and Gary Sheffield(62.1) fail to get in. Just another of many reasons I have no intention of ever visiting that place.

I'm fine with those guys getting in but absolutely agree with you on the other 3.  I also don't get all the love Jimmy Rollins is getting from guys like Rosenthal.  Hall of Very Good for certain, but not HoF for me.
