Similarly, I'm a bit curious about the algorithm for the levels (A, AA, AAA, etc.).  I have seen some people with similar post counts who are right around the same level as me, and others who are at a much higher level for no apparent reason.  It doesn't really matter at all, but I still wonder what kind of black magic is going on under the hood.

It's actually pretty simple, you get additional points for different content and I try to scale it based on the difficulty of creating said content.

Going roughly from memory, this is the scale (or close to it):

1 point - get a reaction from someone
2 points - create a post
5 points - create a topic
10 points - create a blog entry

Then there's a bunch of random other stuff, too. If you hit a milestone like 1,000 posts in the MiLB forum, you might get 50 points or something like that.

Does the post take that long to load or just the tweet?

Because the tweet is loaded last on the page.

Just the tweet portion. But occasionally it takes so long I get a message saying the page has become unresponsive.

Interesting. Mobile, desktop, or both? And how often do you see this happen?

Just desktop. Tweets are always slow to load on desktop. Page becomes unresponsive a few times a week maybe.

I've only noticed this on mobile, but sometimes it will go through the process of loading the page, and as I'm about to click on something, it blanks out and completely reloads itself a second time

When you click on the icon to the left of the forum (to mark all as read), it prompts you with an "are you sure?" on mobile, but not on desktop

Yeah, Brock is aware of this one.  It's a bug that's on his radar....

Any updates on this issue?  If I'm going through the game thread the day after the game or something, it's quite the annoyance.

Not yet, it's on my growing bug list that I hope to start addressing now that we're past hell month. July is great for us but now that MLB has packed both the draft and trade deadline into the same month, it's really chaotic.

Does this board software have the ability to do "in-line" spoilers rather than separating them out into a new box? It's a bit awkward if you want to spoiler a single word

Another message board I frequent has spoilers that look like this:

This would have to be an addition to the RTE. Hmm, I'll have to think about the mechanics on this a bit.

What does it look like, what are you seeing?

It’s 99% of the time with imbedded links. The page looks blank and it won’t load. It’s better on Safari. It’s only from my iPhone when I’m not on Wi-Fi.

Okay so it’s iOS chrome. I’ll try to replicate this locally, thanks.

Is this still happening? I'm also going to PM you, continue the conversation there if you are able, here if you are not.
