I find it really interesting that the Bulls have interviewed Brandon Miller, who is expected to go either 2nd or 3rd overall in the draft.  I know the combine is in Chicago so maybe its normal that a team with 0 picks in the draft is doing a courtesy interview with a top pick.  But that combined with the fact that Portland is rumored to be shopping the pick makes it a little more interesting I guess.

Not even sure what the Bulls can offer them outside of like Zach Lavine, Pat Williams and their own protected 1st back.  Cant even trade any draft picks until 2027 (unless its on draft night - but draft night 2024 since we don't have any picks this year) so it would have to be a win-now trade for Portland that takes significant assets from the Bulls.

I don't know if it's recency bias of all the poor PG play the Bulls have had lately, but if they're trading up that high, I want Scoot, not Miller. 

And I'm pretty generally anti tank, but I'd do a Lavine centered trade and roll the dice. But I wouldn't sell off every last piece to fully tank. Would have no problem keeping around Derozan on his last year as vet leader. Would need a unprotected pick or a player pick combo to move him in that case. 

But I'm also an extreme casual as far as basketball these days so don't listen to me lol

I just want to see them prioritize shooting.  Wouldn't mind moving Lavine for an early pick - I just don't think he's good enough to carry a team.  Great 2nd guy, but if he's your top guy, you're not winning a title in today's NBA

He definitely looks bad but then I also think about the things I would say if my ex-wife was dating a friend/teammate’s son lol

Seems like an odd time to go over the luxury tax. I mean it’s strange to complain about never going over and then complain about possibly going over but I’m dubious that JR suddenly decided to win at all costs.

No, not at all. Besides, this kid shot 23.9% from 3-point range this season which is beyond awful.
