UTSA -4 at Middle Tennessee State

ULL +9 vs South Alabama

Washington State/Cal under 53.5

Kentucky +7 at Ole Miss

That’s a 4-0 weekend, boys. :hello:

Had a 6 way teaser and the only part I missed on was over 45 in the Buffalo-Baltimore game. Ended at 43 horsefeathering points. That was the one part of that bet that I was most sure of. Would have been a perfect weekend. Bet that the first score of the Bears game would not be a TD so that one hit too.

I hope people bet the over in SEA v DET

I bet Sea +4

I bet under 47 in the Tampa game lol

Probably a square play but I like the Rams tonight. Wonder who Clay Travis likes? Hope he picks NFL games too

horsefeathering Fresno State just ruined my weekend. All I needed was them to stay within 7 points and I would have hit a 4 team parlay that paid 10-1. :banghead:

Have to ask do you closely follow FCS or do you have a guy?

A little bit of both. This week, I focused more on FCS than FBS schools.

A friend of mine who is much more active in gambling focuses on the Patriot and Ivy Leagues in football and the Ivy and Northeast conferences in basketball. His theory is Vegas can only allocate a certain amount of resources and typically the smaller conferences in both sports can present better value than major conferences. Plus, their transfer portals are more predictable as well as recruiting classes.

I follow a guy in another forum and went 6-1 yesterday. Only loss was a stupid teaser I put together based off some of his picks. Illinois killed that one early. If I could keep myself from making my own NFL picks I’d be profitable every week based off this guy. He’s a horsefeathering wizard when it comes to college football.

Don’t you think Vegas has a guy too?

Don’t you think Vegas has a guide to?

Of course, however it's still probably fewer and less talented handicappers covering FCS compared to the Power 5.

Let's look at Delaware St @ Norfolk State... Norfolk State (1-5) was favored by 7.5 over Delaware St (3-2). Records don't matter much but all of the computer ranking systems have Del St better. It's not much better but enough to justify +7.5 has a great value even as a ML (+260).

It will likely never happen where you would get a better team (both are pretty bad) being predicted to lose by more than a TD like it was.

So I have a Phillies World Series ticket at 25-1 I bet $50 to win $1250

Thinking of hedging the Padres to win the NLCS at -120 will cost me $60 to win $50 to cover my original bet. Would break even if Padres win

If the Philles make the WS, I can hedge on the AL winner to break even. If the Philles win the World Series I still can net around $1000 profit. Last year I had tickets on both the Braves and Astros so I did not need to hedge.

Would you hedge in this situation or let it ride? $1250 is by no means life changing money lol

I'd only hedge if I thought the hedge is a good bet.

Good point, and I feel San Diego should beat Philly

My picks for the week.

Delaware St. (+170) @ Howard (ML) (.5u)

Maine (-3) @ Stony Brook (1.5u)

Illinois State @ Indiana State (over 40.5) (1.5u)

If it looks like Del St will hit, I'll put 1u on FIU +14.5 @ Char.

I didn't pull the trigger but I should have bet on FIU.
