bedard/fantilli or bust. michkov would be kind of a disappointment, and anything worse than that would be a giant whiff

Blackhawks 3 minutes away from a devistating win against the Flames.  I'm starting to sound like that whats his face twitter dude (edit: Jamfan) but Chicago sports are doomed to mediocrity as a ceiling

Watching Blackhawks kraken on the Seattle feed and Eddie O and this crew is real bad. I guess when you play a terrible team like Chicago it’s tough to be good but these guys are just blabbing about weather and pranks.

If it makes a difference I’ve googled “where is quinnipiac” a half dozen times and still don’t remember

My sister went to school there for 2 years before transferring to Florida. I guess they both have good OT schools but Florida doesn’t get a crapload of snow

For the record, playing soft up 1 goal in the 3rd of a Championship game is the dumbest way to live. He's (Motzko) done a great job of resurrecting our program, but horsefeathers that horsefeathers

With 3 games to go, we're looking at:

1. Blue Jackets (56 pts) - Own tiebreaker due to one fewer regulation win

2. Blackhawks (56 pts)

3. Ducks (57 pts)

4. Sharks (60 pts)

Remaining schedules:

1. Blue Jackets - @PHI, vs. PIT, vs. BUF

2. Blackhawks - vs. MIN, @PIT, vs. PHI

3. Ducks - vs. COL, vs. VAN, vs. LAK

4. Sharks - @WIN, @CAL, @EDM

if you could lock in the 2nd pick of the draft, would you take it? fantilli would be a fine result, but it wouldn't be bedard.

What are the odds of the Hawks getting at least a top 2 pick finishing worst and second worst?  If the odds were less than let’s say 33%, then I’d probably take a guaranteed 2nd overall.

If they managed to finish dead last, it's a 28.5% chance of picking first and I think about the same to pick 2nd, so your odds of staying in the top-2 are better than 50/50.

Once you drop to 2nd, your odds of dropping outside the top 2 go up pretty drastically.

So I think yeah, if you're in the blackhawks spot right now, locking in 2nd would be worth it even if it meant forgoing a chance at one.

I would absolutely lock in Fantilli. Odds are this tank season will be a bust and the guy they get won’t help them win anything. Kind of serves them right, and should punish the fans that were dumb enough to keep spending to see this team lose on purpose
