6/24 - Cubs at Cardinals Apple TV+ - The Boat Show is back/Goodbye Villar

Thank goodness for Apple TV making the barrier to watch games slightly more difficult which will remove any likelihood that my kids will want me to put on the game.

 

David Bote has been added to the active roster so now we get to watch both of the young players that Theo and Jed managed to extend tonight as Hendricks is starting.

The Apple TV games are a blight but if they're going to put a Cubs game on there I appreciate it being against St. Louis so I at least have the option to watch.

Nico has been one of the few bright spots this season. Whether it is at 2B or SS, we seem to have found a starting middle infielder as long as he can stay healthy.

I really hope fixing Hendricks ends up being something as simple as pitch usage. His stuff is the same as ever, and I believe that's all the Cards ended up doing with Wainwright so there is precedent. But if the answer was "throw your sinker more dingus" it probably would have taken less than a year and a half to crack.

With Bote back, I'd move towards having Wisdom split his time about 50/50 between 1st and 3rd.
