Odd that an 11-sec triple is described as “less than 17 seconds.”

Technically true, but…

 

I was trying to remember how fast Tony Womack got around the bases for his inside the park homer and that made me think 17 seconds from home to third wasn't very impressive. Then I seem to recall that Fred McGriff had one as well, either in the same game or the next day where ESPN timed both of them and Womack was scoring about the time McGriff got to second base, lol.
