holy horsefeathers put Grayson Allen in the dirt

New year, same dirty little bitch. Someone needs to take one for the team and just cold [expletive] him.

Yeah, he's definitely a dirty player and a little bitch... This goes back to his days at Duke too, so it's nothing new.

The dirty play for anyone that missed it:

I'm not upset we lost tonight's game and I think we win this game at full-strength.

Bulls not only win that game at full strength, they probably win if they have even just Lonzo....even if he had a bad shooting night like everyone else but Matt Thomas, his defense and finishing probably makes a 4-point difference easy. I might even say having 1 of DJJ or Javonte wins this game. Tyler Cook was -9 in 26 minutes more than he should be playing.

horsefeathers that donkey raping horsefeathers eater and anyone that backs him up after yet another cheap shot. Someone better knock his horsefeathering teeth out when they come to Chicago on 3/4.

I’d say it’s just not our year with injuries but the bulls seem to suffer massive amounts of injuries every year.

Not like this

I dunno...we've had some massive injury issues in the past. It feels a lot like the season Rose tore his ACL. He couldn't stay on the court before the ACL, a large chunk of the role players were in and out of the lineup with constant injuries, etc. Or the playoff series against the Nets when most of the team was out and Nate Robinson was puking in buckets on the sideline because he needed to play (not to mention that unnecessary botched spinal tap for Deng). And maybe the other seasons haven't been as bad but our key players always seem to miss significant chunks of the season. I don't know if Lauri ever played more than 60 games for the Bulls, Butler would always seemingly miss 15-20 games a year, Lavine was missed significant time, including a COVID stretch that probably cost us the play-in last year. Noah's career was cut short in his prime due to degrading knees. Gasol missed the last half of the 2nd most important playoff series since MJ. Going back far but Jason Williams and his motorcycle...

From the start of the season to December 4 (the last game Caruso played before his injury issues started) the Bulls were ranked 7th in Defensive Rating at 105.8

Caruso played just 2 out of 18 games between December 5 - January 18th. During that stretch the Bulls ranked 28th in Defensive Rating at 115.4, ahead of only the Hawks and Rockets

In the 2 games Caruso was back, the Bulls were ranked 11th in Defensive Rating at 107.5.

Clearly the stat is a bit flawed because we're looking at small sample sizes and measuring stretches where many more players than Caruso were out. But his impact on the Bulls defense is undeniable. He has the best Net Rating on the team (yes better than Lavine, DeRozan, everyone) and by far the best Defensive Rating on the team (Javonte Green is the only one who even comes close).

Bulls are going to have to outscore bad teams and play very well against good teams to stay afloat for however long Caruso is out. They already did that pretty well during this last stretch where he was out, but now they do it without Lonzo too.

Williams out 3-4 months, Ball out 2 months, Caruso out 3 months (two stints), Green out 3 weeks, Jones Jr out 2 months, Lavine out 2 weeks, plus everyone out 1-2 weeks with covid. We are only halfway through the season. This is unlike any other year.

Here is an article written 5 years ago about how much worse than any other team the Bulls are at keeping players healthy. I’m not sure how many games lost our injuries are, even removing COVID from it, but either way my point stands. The Bulls over the last decade are constantly dealing with ridiculous amounts of injuries compared to every other NBA team

The Bulls might be more injured than other teams, but my point was that this year’s injuries are worse than other years

100% understand that they’ve played a busy schedule lately and that they are likely demoralized by the never ending string of injuries but man I was hoping for a much better effort tonight.

The Magic are 4-28 in their last 32 games and have not won any of those games by more than 7 points. Currently up by 13 with 5 mins left

Vuc is such garbage

I don’t know what they can do about him. Obviously it’s much better when the normal starting 5 is out there and he can be a 4th option but this is a stretch where we need an all star big man to be a big contributor and instead he’s actively hurting the team

Also classless Bucks organization.

Allen suspended for 1 game. How does that disincentivize hurting other players? What’s to stop the Bulls from having Tony Bradley try to injure Giannis next time they play? I’d hope my team was classy enough to not do that but any team can go out there with the intent to increase their title chances by hurting another player and all they’ll get is a 1 game suspension

this season is gone

It’s not gone. Even if they have to advance through the play-in round, the team is a 55 win team at full strength and so far none of the injuries we’ve dealt with including PWill are season ending. They are going to have to play a lot better than they did tonight but as long as they finish .500 and get everyone back, the season is still on.

i'd be surprised if lonzo and caruso both are ready for the playoffs. just feels like maybe a play-in win and then we get trounced by one of the top east teams. even if lonzo/caruso come back, they'll have barely played.

i wish we could get anything for vuc. what a terrible trade that ended up being.

This marked Vucevic’s sixth game in 38 appearances with three or more turnovers. And he now has 19 games in which the career 49.3 percent shooter has failed to crack 40 percent. That includes 10 games under 35 percent.

Can we have Eloy and Cease back please

it's not that dire, i mean vuc might be but the team should be stronger than that record wise and potential wise
