Wisconsin is legit terrible

Legit.

I think I’m ready to call for a HC change. I decided to watch the rest of the team today rather than just Mertz. Everyone here is getting all over Mertz but the problems go way, way beyond him.

How do you go from a play away from a Rose bowl win to bottom feeder in the space of one COVID shortened season. It’s time for heads to roll.

By the way, a horrible epiphany hit me around the 3rd Q today. I realized that I get to watch Nagy offense on both Saturday and Sunday each week.

Loads of fun up here in Madison…

Should probably promote Jim Leonhard...

Some of those scrambles and throws by Auburn’s Bo Nix last night against LSU were wild. He was the difference in that game.

As an added bonus, it sure is fun to watch LSU circle the drain. They’re no better than 4th or 5th in the West this year. Coach O’s seat is starting to get very hot.

LSU's trajectory under Orgeron reminds me of the Cubs trajectory under Theo, without the historical ineptitude aspect.

-Rise to the very pinnacle of the sport

-Seem to have the pieces to establish a dynasty

-Proceed to underperform for years playing without the spark that drove the initial success

Was at the ND/Cincinnati game. I was fully prepared to lose, but I was hoping it would be more 'Cincinnati is really good and we're just less good' and less 'ND hands them 10 points with dumb-ass turnovers, commits a dumb-ass red zone turnover too and Cincinnati just does enough to avoid screwing up that advantage'.

I don't think anyone serious thought that LSU was in position to create a dynasty. Certainly this fall-off is more precipitous than expected, but the Burrow/Brady thing was the all-time example of lightning in a bottle.

ESPECIALLY with Ed Orgeron at the helm. They've got a whole slew of likely losses coming up in 5 straight weeks: Kentucky, Florida, Ole Miss, Bama, and Arkansas. I'm not sure Coach O survives the next month. He's a clown and they are wanting to get rid of him anyways, so at some point in the next month is the time to fire him if they're going to do it.

I’m guessing the answer is no but can anyone justify or make sense of this decision.

UC Davis-Idaho over the weekend. UCD up 27-20, 4 minutes left and Idaho has a 4th and 4 from the UCD 17. Coach decides to kick a FG. Idaho had gained nearly 500 yards, averaged almost 7 yards per play in the game and the QB was 22-35 for 255 yards.
