True but I just looked up his game log and he's had a pretty solid stretch of starts outside of that game. Meaning it's not completely shocking to see him no hit a team full of minor league hitters.

The Cubs last home win was that Javy Baez walkoff/staredown of Amir Garrett. They then lost the last 3 games of the series, traded all their good players away, and have lost 9 more with the scrubs.

 

 

Actually have to admire the tank job. When the Bulls were tanking they drove me nuts winning meaningless games against other tanking teams, ultimately hurting their draft position. The Cubs are 2-9 since the deadline against the 10 worst teams by winning %. (1-2 vs. COL, 0-2 vs. KC, 1-2 vs. WAS, 0-3 vs. MIA)

Also, I live in Wicker and the storm was super intense here for a good 20 minutes. So the storm didn't miss Wrigley by much.

 

Glad to see Megill coming around. Hopefully he can keep stringing good outings together these last 6 weeks and we can feel good about him heading into next year.
