I really hope KB is the guy they keep out of the core, but Boras won’t make it easy.

Cubs non-Bryant runs were scored on a groundout, infield single, sac fly and walk. Bryant runs were on a HR and double. Bet he can’t wait to get away from these losers

4 of the previous 6 hitters walked. Obviously different pitchers involved but I’m sure the Cubs figured the only way they could score runs was to stand there and hope to draw walks

Think it depends what you can get for Bryant. If you can package Bryant and Kimbrel to the Braves or Padres and get a nice haul, it might be worth doing and just rebuilding. But who trusts this front office to even get correct value for their players?
