2 Sunday Nights

2 Monday Nights

1 Thanksgiving Day

Assuming they'll have to play a Thursday night at some point as well. Also, interesting that the games that have leaked so far have been almost all road games. 8 road games and 1 home have been leaked (9 on the road this year due to 17th game added). Safe assumption that weeks 6, 8, 13, and 17 are at home with 1 being their bye week (sandwiched between road games). Also no week 2-4 announced, so I'd guess the last road game we don't know (@ Browns) is likely in that window, unless the Bears have a 3-straight road game stretch

For anyone who has a sub, this was a great read.

Just read this, it's pretty funny how Pace talked about how he held off on talking to the teams in the 'sweet spot' of where they could trade up to until Thursday morning because he didn't want the internet to be going crazy that the Bears were desperate to move up on Monday and Tuesday, and then early Thursday morning he starts making the calls and that's when that guy tweeted out "watch out for the Bears"

No back to back home or aways. Weird.

The alternating H/R thing is so bizarre, I don't think I've ever seen that before but ultimately it doesn't mean much. The very toughest games seem fairly spaced out which is good.

Very weird. But I love the schedule. This is about as good as the 3rd toughest schedule can get.

According to my much smarter than me BIL (econ PhD) it's a. 0226% chance at a alternating H-A schedule given totally random distribution in 1 17 game season. Obviously some schedules the NFL would never let happen though for instance HHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAA. So probably quite a bit larger odds in practical terms, but still. Pretty unusual!

8 home games, 9 away. You'd think they would flip flop that every other year, but the NFL schedule makers aren't that consistent

That’s exactly what they are doing

And every NFC team has 9 road games this year so there are no competitive issues like competing for a playoff spot against a team that had 9 home games

They have more of a plan than I anticipated

Man, I'm not usually one to eat up all the media stuff but my God, I love the Bears first 2 picks.

Jenkins is so funny, down-to-Earth, mild-mannered off the field and violent on the field.

Fields is just a horsefeathering assassin. "I'm built for this" when asked about being a QB in the spotlight.

They definitely said all the right stuff in the just ended press conferences, not a bunch of cliche' answers to things that don't involve actual coaching decisions.

Feels like Jenkins will get a C sooner than later in his Bears career. Fields is obvious. But Jenkins has leader written all over him. He's gonna be a fan favorite.
