Boog is growing on me. He was interviewed on The Score yesterday and it was interesting to hear his takes on some topics. I think over time we will see/hear that he’s much better than Len.

Yeah, you can tell Boog is starting to find his groove with JD. Past two weeks in particular he sounds more at ease, more natural.

Boog needs to be more of a homer. Len got genuinely excited when the Cubs hit songs it made great plays. National guys have to be neutral, so it feels like Boog is reticent to be a cheerleader (which, to my ear, makes him sound disinterested at times).

Len took some time to start doing that too. It wasn't until the Aramis game winner against Milwaukee (to me anyway) that he truly felt like our guy, and that was his 3rd year here.

It took him 3 years because his first 2 years were the 2005 and 2006 teams.
