Theories abound with the Badgers, and I haven't seen anything solid yet. It's worth noting that COVID-19 has been exploding in WI, and in Madison it was found that the original source of the outbreak was UW Madison, coinciding with the return of students to campus.

 

Also, I believe there were false negatives on the antigen test. Chryst tested positive, but had a negative antigen test earlier. False negatives with that test are really problematic. You've got one or two guys who have the disease, think they don't, and are obviously doing all the things involved in football that can easily spread the virus.

 

I haven't heard anything to say that the football players were flouting the rules, or weren't.
