Tuesdays seem to go well for us in Cleveland. To date, Wednesdays have treated us pretty well in the Mistake by the Lake, too. Especially with the Professor on the hill. Keep it going, boys.

Schwarber scratched (knee soreness from last night's plunking). Bryant to LF, Bote in at 3B batting 7th and everyone who was 5-7 moves up a spot.

This probably isn't super valuable in the grand scheme of things, but that's one of those things that never shows up in the year end numbers for KB. One of our outfielders goes down, and instead of having to plug in Almora/Souza, we get to insert our best bat/player off the bench.

Good for Ryan Sweeney parlaying 400ish AB's 6 years ago for the last truly awful Cubs teams into a studio job at Marquee.

edit: also nice that in the 5 minute I watched him just now he probably had more personality than how many ever years of DeJesus combined.

KB ABs used to be absolute cant miss events

Hes been horsefeathering trash so far. I'm shocked that his Hard% is currently at a career high; besides the HR I feel like all contact he has made has been dying quails off of the end of the bat. Hes got to snap out of this funk soon.

It’s dumb when an ump doesn’t appeal and that wasn’t that bad of a reaction. Tossing him seems excessive but whatever I suppose you can’t slam the bat like that when it’s clearly at the ump

So if Vic moves to catcher we lose the DH, right?

Yes

What if the DH happens to get hurt? Can they be replaced? Does it have to be someone from the bench or can a position player move there?

I'm pretty sure the only way to change the DH without losing it is with people of the bench
