I know you are talking about Ross selecting which pen arm to bring in that cause the game to collapse but since Ross I was mentioned I thought it was interesting to pinch hit his backup catcher (playing as DH) with his 3rd catcher was interesting on a 95 degree day. Now we don’t have a DH or a backup catcher. Schwarber and Javy could move there in a pinch but they’ve also been on the field all game which isn’t ideal

not a DH expert but isn't Phegley now the DH, and he can still come in and catch if needed in an emergency but that is when you lose the DH. Isn't that true? You can PH the DH with someone from the bench, it's just when the DH comes into the field that you lose the DH, I thought.
